I have finally completed the build of my “First in Bastogne” Sherman jumbo from Tasca. It features a lot of extras from several different companies. Next up: Primer!
I have just finished an article for the coming number of the Swedish magazine Allt om Hobby. It will feature my step-by-step instructions for weathering this blue car. I greatly appreciated the process for working with them and can’t wait to see the finished product.
These are some quick shots to show you what’s coming.
I hade a weekend of a lifetime. Around 30 model builders gathered at the military vehicles museum Arsenalen for a full weekend of model building and gloat at all the wonderful tanks and more. What started as walk-arounds ended in walk-on and sit-ins of all the tanks! This is images of the museum itself, see the other post for images from the behind the scenes of the storage areas.
Just got back home from Moson Show in Mosonmagyaróvár, Hungary. Incredible show with amazing artistic quality in all model categories. Lots of great shopping, good friends, yummy food and beer.
I managed to grab a gold in what seemed to appear the biggest class on the show. 1/35 tracked armored vehicles. My guess is that over 100 models had entered in the class.
Lots of pictures were taken by me during the weekend and will soon post them here.
Thanks to everyone I met and traveled with. Hope to see you next year!
Hi my name is Andreas Grewin and I work as an Interactive Art Director in Stockholm, Sweden. This site represents one of my interest during my past time. With this site I really want to show the world and the people around me what a amazing and creative hobby this is.
